MEDBBHub

The Mediterranean network of Blue Biotechnology Hubs

The Good Practices
MEDBBHub is a central resource for stakeholders involved in the Blue Biotechnology (BBt) sector across the Mediterranean region. At its core are the five interactive Blue Biotechnology Hubs (BBHs) established by 2B-BLUE, which integrate key actors from the BBt sector into collaborative platforms. These hubs facilitate collective efforts to advance marine biotechnology, tackle sector challenges, and promote the adoption of advanced BBt practices in the Mediterranean.

This GOOD PRACTICES’ REPOSITORY gathers the most innovative experiences from BBHs members and beyond in the development, application, and valorization of Blue Biotechnologies. It serves as a starting point for future collaborations and knowledge exchange, fostering activities such as technology foresight, transfer, uptake, and upscaling of Blue Biotechnology solutions.

Good Practices Calculator
When dealing with innovation, the list of existing good practices is critically relevant for further exploration, transfer and scale-up. We advise that the evaluation of good practices is done either through self-assessment or direct interviews with people in charge of the good practice development, who can have the necessary answers to the evaluation questions.
