General idea:
Support the planning and licensing of aquaculture in Europe by an Aquaculture Toolbox containing tools, approaches and frameworks

Description:
TAPAS Aquaculture Sustainability Toolbox incorporates existing and newly developed models and approaches. In recognition of the need for a multi-stakeholder approach to aquaculture sustainability, the Aquaculture Toolbox was created to aid planners and license applicants in guiding and developing the industry and their operations. In particular the toolbox contains:
• regulatory frameworks for adoption by Member states
• tools for quantification of environmental services
• spatial planning linked to carrying capacity and sustainability indicators
• tools for licensing and aquaculture
