APP Lonja is a tool to enhance the value of small-scale fishing products and promote short distribution channels. It is useful for improving the marketing of seafood products, favouring the profitability of the small-scale fishing boats that arrive at port and limiting the pressure and control exerted on the market by large buyers. It is currently in the pilot and testing phase with fish markets in the region of Murcia. Living labs are expected to be carried out to facilitate their market launch and to adapt them to small aspects of the current regulations.
