2B-BLUE – Boosting the Blue Biotechnology community in the Mediterranean
The Blue Biotechnology (BBt) sector has potential impacts on the environment, human wellbeing, and economic growth. The 2B-BLUE project, funded by the Interreg Euro-MED Programme, aims to advance Blue Biotechnology (BBt) in the Mediterranean. It focuses on showcasing effective BBt practices for community adoption, creating national demonstration sites to test key technologies and solutions, thereby linking research with industry to benefit the marine environment. Additionally, the project aims to forge strategic partnerships among stakeholders to promote advanced BBt in Mediterranean industries and to enhance regional policies, fostering sustainability, research, and innovation throughout the Euro-Med area.
